Family vs. Friends.

I cried today
How strange that seems
That happiness
Comes with crushed dreams
And family life
Could be different
Than social ties
And loving friends
I have forgotten
My parents
And when they were
So useful; and
How it seems
That I have aged
But I'm still her
Inside.
